A chance of rain showers overnight before 5am, 40% chance of new precipitation coming with little or no snow accumulation expected.

There are three more stations above 90th percentile in the northwest while the northwest has quite the opposite appearance. The west side of the Lake Erie drainage basin runs below normal to much below seasonal normal, supporting the moderate to severe drought ratings in the watersheds of Lake Erie basin. There are no extreme low flows registering as of now.

Lower Maumee watershed has backed down from moderate drought to below normal rating, and Huron-Vermilion has been cleared from the drought map, unrated today. In the east Lake Erie watersheds, Grand River watershed has been cleared, joining Ashtabula-Chagrin watershed, unrated and signalling streamflows above 90th percentile. South of the drainage divide, Ohio River minor tributary Wheeling Creek has backed off the severe drought status, down to moderate drought. Adjacent watershed Little Muskingum River remains in severe drought.
Muskingum River drainage basin is drought-rated with the single exception of Wills Creek watershed, still unrated. Hocking River watershed is the driest in the Muskingum basin, rated moderate drought. Central Ohio basin drained by the Scioto River is rated entirely below normal. One Ohhio River minor tributary in this area, Raccoon-Symmes Creeks watershed is rated moderate drought. Heading to the west side of the state, Great Miami River basin runs at moderate drought in the upper basin, unrated in the Lower Great Miami River watershed, below normal in the Little Miami River watershed.
