Mostly sunny, high just 27 degrees Sunday in north Ohio with a NWS cold weather advisory for the south, the coldest temps coming Tuesday, down into the teens.

Streamflows are down state-wide over the weekend, low values and much below seasonal normal in all five drainage basins Sunday. In the Lake Erie drainage basin, St Josephs River watershed runs a moderate drought rating, adjacent watersheds of the Lake Erie west drainage basin, across the divide into the Upper Muskingum River basin and down the Ohio River minor tributaries Wheeling Creek and Raccoon Symnmes rated below normal. Great Miami and Scioto River basins are entirely unrated for drought conditions Sunday.

WT HAB Tracker from the satellite monitoring program of the National Centers for Coastal Ocean Science
The latest upload from NCCOS was captured Nov 29, at one of the highest surface wind conditions recorded for Lake Erie, 30.7 mph. At this wind speed, it is unlikely HABs would be visible even if the open water was visible. In this capture, the view of Lake Erie is entirely cloud obscured. WTOH.us will continue to search the daily images for signs of cold water HABs and report here. The last view of HAB activity was Nov 27, HABs seen in Sandusky Bay dispersed throughout the inner and outer bay area at the moderate concentration 200 thousand cells per ml.
