Streamflow Situation
from the network of USGS streamflow gauges in Ohio
Cloudy this morning in Ohio, both sides of the drainage divide. Clearing this afternoon with a high 39. A 40% chance of showers Wednesday after 3 pm increasing to 90% chance of rain Wednesday evening, looking like there will be snow for Thanksgiving Day. No hazardous weather statement has been made for Ohio as of this report.

Streamflow levels are mostly below normal in the northwest Lake Erie drainage basin, mostly normal in the northeast. An even mix of normal, below normal water levels continues in the Ohio River - Mississippi drainage basin. Severe drought in the Ohio River minor tributary Shade River has been downgraded to moderate drought. Ohio River minor tributary Wheeling Creek remains in severe drought Tuesday. The balance of drought rating is below normal, this rating applies to the Lake Erie northwest watersheds, with the exception of Blanchard River, unrated. On the south side of the state height-of-land-divide, Upper Great Miami River, Upper Scioto River and several Muskingum River watersheds run below normal, including Mohican, Walhonding, Muskingum, Licking and Little Muskingum River watersheds, all rated below normal streamflows. There are no high flows recorded in Ohio as of this report.

WT HAB Tracker from the satellite monitoring program of the National Centers for Coastal Ocean Science
The latest upload from NCCOS is date-stamped Nov 23, captured at a terrific surface wind speed 25.7 The image is mostly cloud obscured, the wind is far too high for a reliable assessment of HAB even if we could see the water. The last view of HABs in Lake Erie was Nov 13, the image caught at high wind without the cloud cover. HABs are evident in a widespread area east of Sandusky Bay at a low concentration 100 thousand cells per ml or less.
