WT HAB Tracker from the satellite monitoring program of the NOAA National Centers for Coastal Ocean Science(NCCOS)
The latest upload from NCCOS was captured Nov 9 at surface wind speed 20.4 mph. The image is mostly cloud obscured with no HAB evident. High wind speed causes the HAB mats to become submerged out of view of imaging equipment. We cannot make a reliable assessment of the HAB extent at this wind speed.
