WT HAB Tracker from the satellite monitoring program of the NOAA National Centers for Coastal Ocean Science(NCCOS)
The latest upload from NCCOS was captured Oct 14 at surface wind speed 20 mph, a mostly cloud obscured image. The only HAB activity visible in this image is widespread five nm off shore from Port Clinton. The previous image showed a bit more, including multiple localized HABs along the Michigan shore. The highest concentration is in North Maumee Bay, widespread HAB matching 600 thousand cells per ml, the others at 100 thousand cells per ml or less.
