Much above seasonal water levels continue in the west, the entire drainage basins of the Great Miami and Scioto Rivers are now recording flows above the 90th percentile. None of the stations are signalling the extreme high flows, action stage or active flooding at this time.

Seven-day average streamflows are calculated to create the drought map. Higher streamflows over the last few days have crushed the drought ratings from the west, both sides of the state height-of-land divide. The Lake Erie west drainage basin has been in drought for weeks, now drought free. In the south central and southeast, drought ratings remain for Muskingum River basin's Wills Creek watershed, Guernsey County still rated with severe drought. Next door, the Ohio River minor trib Wheeling Creek watershed is still rated severe drought, impacting the water supplies of Belmont, Harrison and Jefferson Counties. Muskingum River basin has Little Muskingum and Hocking River watersheds rated below normal. Ohio River minor tributaries Little Beaver Creek, Shade River and Raccoon-Symmes watersheds remain below normal.
