NWS: Sunday high winds with thunderstorms

South to southwest winds may gust over 40 MPH Sunday afternoon and
Sunday night as a strong low pressure and its associated cold front
move through the area. A line of showers and thunderstorms may develop along the cold front
Sunday afternoon or early evening. Any stronger showers or storms could produce briefly higher wind gusts in excess of 50 MPH.

Streamflow Situation from the network of USGS river monitoring sites in Ohio
Overcast, 52 degrees at Marion Municipal Airport, Cleveland local forecast center calling for heavy rain tonight. Showers are expected mainly after 2am, heavy at times, up to three quarters of an inch. Low tonight around 51. Tomorrow, rain with thunderstorms possible after 5pm, some of the storms could produce heavy rainfall, another half to three quarters of an inch possible. NWS Wilmington reports overcast conditions, also 52 degrees. Showers with thunderstorms possible after 4am, up to an inch of rain possible. Showers likely tomorrow with a possible thunderstorm, another half inch possible.
Central Ohio continues to run below normal streamflows, the Great Miami River basin and the east side of Lake Erie basin are running seasonal normal water levels.
Wills Creek watershed has moved into severe drought, matching neighboring Wheeling Creek watershed. St Josephs River watershed remains in moderate drought, the remaining rated area of Lake Erie northwest watersheds are below normal. Muskingum River basin's Little Muskingum and Hocking River watersheds remain below normal. Ohio River minor tributaries Little Beaver Creek and Shade River watersheds are also rated below normal.
